Refund and Returns Policy

Your Purchase and What It Covers

When you enroll in a BD-Choice program, you receive immediate personal access to the full digital content of that course — written modules, analytical frameworks, critical vocabulary guides, genre and context references, and any supplementary resources included at the time of purchase. Access is granted to the account used at checkout and cannot be shared, transferred, or reassigned to another individual or organization. Each purchase covers a single-user license for the enrolled program only.


The Review Period — Five Days

From the moment of purchase, you have five full days to evaluate whether the program is the right fit for your current level of engagement and development focus. We encourage you to use this time seriously — read through the module structure, work through the introductory content, and assess whether the depth, approach, and subject coverage match what you are looking for at this stage of your media practice. This window exists specifically for that kind of genuine evaluation. It is not intended as a period to complete the program content in full before submitting a return request, and requests submitted under those circumstances will not be approved.


The Usage Threshold

Once more than 30% of a program’s content has been accessed, the course is considered to be in active use. At that point, refund eligibility closes permanently for that program — regardless of how much of the course remains, how recently it was purchased, or whether the learner has formally completed it. There are no partial refunds for programs that have been partially completed. The 30% threshold applies equally across all program types and price points on the platform.


Making a Request

To request a refund within the eligible period, write to our support team from the email address registered to your account. Include your order number and the name of the program you are requesting a refund for. We do not require a detailed explanation of your reasons — account verification and a review of your usage data are sufficient for us to assess and process the request. Requests submitted from unregistered email addresses or without an order reference will require additional verification before they can be reviewed.


What Happens After You Submit

Once your request has been received, our support team will review your account usage and respond with a confirmation or follow-up within 48 hours. If the refund is approved, the amount will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing time from approval to receipt of funds is between 7 and 14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. We are not able to expedite this timeline as it is determined by the financial institutions involved, not by our internal processing.
